Family: Sons, Ben and Tim (identical twins) Ben is married to Katie and they have an 8yo daughter Kaylynn. Tim is married to Jennifer and they have a 7yo son Bobby and a 4yo daughter named Emily. Bobby is named after my late husband who I met in college at Purdue
Favorite hobby: I enjoy sewing and baking Christmas cookies
First concert ever attended: My parents were always taking us to concerts, and I saw a lot of bands at local and state fairs, but the first rock band I saw on my own was Three Dog Night.
Favorite verse and why: I love 1 Corinthians 13. These verses remind me of the power of love and to always put that first in any situation, and how that will be made perfect when Christ returns and we gain full understanding.
Favorite food: Cookies
Most embarrassing moment: When the boys were toddlers, Tim fell into the reflecting pond at the botanical gardens and I had to carry him out with moss hanging from his ear through a bride’s photography session. (He was fine.)
Random fact / Hidden Talent: My late husband and I found out we were distant cousins at our rehearsal dinner when our moms started talking and found a common relative. My friend’s mom, when I lived in Schenectady NY, graduated from Arlington High School. Talk about a small world! Hidden talent–I can go into stealth mode, as I am a very quiet person, and sneak up on people. Sometimes I do it unintentionally! I have reviewed over 50,000 college essays in my career as a college planner.
