Out of our affection for who God is and what He has done, we respond to His call on our lives to love Him and love people. People all over the world are looking for peace in their lives. The Good News is that in following Jesus Christ, people are granted a kind of peace that is beyond comprehension. Knowing the power of having Christ in our lives, Connect Church is committed to introducing people everywhere to the Good News of peace in Christ Jesus. Symbolically, Acts 1:8 is to be interpreted as “tell people about Jesus’ peace in your city (Jerusalem), your state (Judea), your nation (Samaria) and the whole world (end of the earth.)
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded of you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” – Matthew 28:19-20

Connect Serves
Connect Serves 2019 takes place the 5th Sunday of the month in March and September. We’ll gather on that Sunday morning and pause our discipleship classes, Life Groups and Worship. Instead, we serve our community and become the message of Christ.
Here are some areas we have served:
- Mission Arlington
- Miller Elementary school
- Arlington Resale benefiting Metroplex Women’s Clinic
- Local parks to pick up trash and have spiritual conversations
- Yard work for families in need
- Local retirement homes
- Neighboring hospital
- Fire Stations
Making the gospel known is a commandment.

Impact the World
REAL4CHRIST:
Connect partners with Real4Christ Ministries to start churches and schools, child feeding programs and provide medical services to several communities. Real 4 Christ Ministries is a faith-based, non-profit organization that is committed to reaching East African lives for Christ. They accomplish God’s purpose for their ministry by working with indigenous pastors and their local churches. Their ministries consist of evangelism, church planting, feeding programs, education and medicine. They are confident that by allowing God to work in and through us, many lives in Kenya will be forever changed for His glory!
KID’S HOPE USA:
Connect partners with Miller Elementary school through Kid’s Hope USA to provide mentors. Too many students stand just one close adult relationship away from thriving in school and in life. This gap hinders education; loneliness obstructs learning. Yet every church’s most abundant resource is people. Kids Hope USA provides structure, training, support, and resources designed for use in public schools by churches to give kids what they need most—hope and love from a mentor.
Kids Hope USA builds life-changing relationships one at a time: One Child. One Hour. One School. One Church.
SEED COMPANY:
Connect sponsors Bible translation for people without God’s word in their own language. Working with over 1400 global partners, they serve the local church by providing training, consulting, funding, and project management that leads to a meaningful, accurate translation in the local mother tongue. Thousands of prayer partners provide a solid foundation for the work. Seed Company is at the cutting edge of bringing the Bible to people who have never had God’s Word in a language they understand.
REPLENISH:
Every year through Replenish, Connect purchases water filtration systems called LifeStraws to provide clean water in schools, clinics and churches. Replenish is committed to restoring health and enhancing life through clean water. Through their partnership with LifeStraw, Replenish is transforming life by implementing community filters in schools, clinics and churches.
Engineering Ministries International
Connect supports a family in Africa through Engineering Ministries International who’s vision is to see people restored by God and the world restored through design.
