ConnectNow is an opportunity for everyone to partner with God’s work in our city and across the world. It is a recognition of the power in our voice and our prayers and the surrender of our time and our resources. It's an opportunity for the church to respond.

Recruited new mentors for Kid's Hope at Miller Elementary for the 2017-2018 school year.
Supported The Seed Company by sponsoring the translation of the Book of Jonah into the Digo language.
Gathered items for Real4Christ Ministries for our Kenya Mission Team to deliver during their July trip.
Connect families registered for CarePortal to be made aware of and provide for the needs of foster families.
Our entire Connect body participated in Connect Serves, an event with multiple opportunities to serve our community.
We gathered items for Texas ReEntry Services, a wonderful orgagnization that assists ex-offenders as they integrate back into society.
We filled baby bottles with change to help the clients of Metroplex Women’s Clinic, gathering over $2,000 for this cause!
Helped 42 children at Connect and Miller Elementary with Christmas gifts!
Raised $3100 (matched by a donor for a total of $6,200) to provide 8 Community Life Straws through Replenish Water to Real4Christ. This gift was then generously matched by a donor, providing over 16 Community Life Straws to Africa!
Gathered over 60 full uniforms to donate to Turning Point High School, a local alternative HS.
Recruited 10 new mentors for Kid's Hope at Miller Elementary for the 2016-2017 school year.
Raised over $1,000 by sponsoring every verse in the Book of Jonah through The Seed Company.
Sponsored 16 kids through Real4Christ Ministries and began monthly support
Wrote 80 encouragement notes to teachers at Miller Elementary and renovated their Teacher's Lounge.
Sent over 60 purses filled with various products to Texas ReEntry to serve ex-offenders coming back into society.
Filled baby bottles with $2300 in change to support Metroplex Women's Clinic.
Filled baby bottles with $2500 in change to support the Arlington/Mansfield Pregnancy Centers.
Assisted Connect individuals and families through a Connect "Christmas Giftaway" , our own Angel Tree ministry by providing gift cards and meals to make their Christmas a little brighter.
Collected gift cards and funds to assist the Trent Swanson family who lost their home and belongings to a house fire.
Collected items to help fill Christmas stockings for the men (including our own Kelly Velder) and women of the 879th Security Forces Squadron in Saudi Arabia.
Collected school supplies to benefit children at Miller Elementary and Mission Arlington .
Collected funds to purchase 100 soccer balls and various items to be sent with those going with Real 4 Christ Ministries to Mombasa, Kenya to share the love of Christ with staff and children at churches and schools.
Filled over 100 baby bottles ($2,200) with change in support of Arlington/Mansfield Pregnancy Centers.
Collected coats, scarves, socks, blankets and shoes for the winter season for new refugee families through World Relief.
Provided Disaster Relief items through World Vision by collecting and donating bottled water, diapers, paper towels, toilet paper, socks & underwear.
Provided an opportunity for Connect to bring supplies of Gatorade, bottled water and breakfast bars to benefit the relief efforts and our neighbors in West, Texas.
Engaged the church to sign up through Arlington ISD to volunteer in several capacities at Miller Elementary during the 2012-2013 school year. Forgot to sign up? click here for the online application process on AISD website. Once approved email Melanie to get plugged in!
Prayed for 5 specific places in the 10/40 window over 5 weeks that Connect is partnered with people to make the name of Jesus known.
Joined with Pastor Patris of Simonette, Haiti and his church as they plant a fruit tree in front of every house in his town as a symbol that God makes all things new. With your help, Connect was able to purchase 500 fruit tress. Thank you are partnering with them to make this happen!
Collected over 800 cereal boxes for Haiti. The Apparent Project uses the boxes to employ nationals to create jewelry out of the boxes to create an income, which in turn allows parents to keep their own children. Learn more at http://apparentproject.org/
Collected sport jerseys and air pumps for a local non-profit group called Ethiopia Smile. They spent 10 days in the country performing dental clinics and orphanage ministry. www.ethiopiasmile.com
Raised $3765 for micro business loans to help people in Haiti build their businesses. The money finanaced 22 individual micro loans that will be repaid and then given to another qualified business person in Haiti.
