At Connect Church, we believe in doing life together, and that means being together during times when life is good and when life is bad. There are times when we need encouragement or a helping hand or to hear truth spoken in love.
When life gives you:
an illness that puts you or yours in the hospital
a financial burden you cannot carry
a relationship or situation you cannot manage
the death of a loved one
When you need help:
If you are involved with a Life Group, get in touch with those friends first. Allow your Group to minister to you in love.
When additional counsel is required, our ministers help to meet the emotional and spiritual needs of the church. Make a simple
phone call to the church office at 817-583-8600, asking to speak with one of the ministers who will provide emotional and spiritual
encouragement and guidance.
When you want to help:
Provide meals – Log on to foodtidings.com. and log in with your e-mail and a password. Type in Connect Church and our
calendars will appear on the screen. (Our calendars & titles are preceded by “Connect Church” prior to the last name.) Select a
calendar and submit a request for the desired date. When request is accepted, confirm your date on the calendar.
Encourage by visiting the sick in the hospital or at home.
Offer help around the house (i.e. cleaning, lawn care, grocery store trips, etc.)
MEDICAL SAFETY TEAM
We are in the People Business, so sometimes it happens: someone gets sick or injured on Sunday morning at church. If you are a nurturer and care for others, will you join our “on call” Medical Safety Team? For more information, contact Nina Burgett or to register for this team, click here.
People are important at Connect Church--God values everyone who walks through the doors, and so do we.
That's why, even before you enter Connect Church, we greet you on the sidewalk, welcoming you to worship God with us. Once inside, you will find friendly people, fresh coffee and warm smiles at every turn. We hope your first impression is the best impression!
